Born in Woodville, Kings County, Nova Scotia, he was encouraged by his family to draw and paint from an early age. He attended Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. David has been a photographer, watercolorist and “plein air” painter.
LaceyNova Scotia is rich in subject matter for this landscape and seascape artist. For the past several years, David had wintered in Florida where he finds inspiration to create new works. David is considered a prolific painter who tries to capture subjects of beauty and harmony without being maudlin or trite.
